TV show De Wereld Draait Door invited Stephan to create an animation for their Book of the Month segment. The piece, inspired by Cliënt E. Busken by Jeroen Brouwers, visualizes the inner world of Mr. Busken as he resides in a psychiatric institution.
With only eight days from reading the book to delivering the final animation, Stephan handled the entire process, from initial sketches and storyboards to style frames, animation, and final export. He also created the sound design, shaping a complete audiovisual interpretation of the story.
